The Heart Rate Response to Nintendo Wii Boxing in Young Adults
I've purposely NOT used mine since I found out I was pregnant because of the body test thing it does when you have to stand still as it checks your weight - I wasn't sure if it works in the same way as a body fat monitor as you can't use those in pregnancy either.
I've been trying to find an online manual for the Wii can't find my own about health and safety and whether it mentions if its safe to use in pregnancy. Can anyone help? I havent gone on it since i found out i was pregs Page 16 has the usual warning to consult your doctor before using if pregnant, heart conditions, high BP blood pressure etc.
I don't know for sure though. I've done a few of the exercises since being pregnant - have been very selective though. Hope the manual helps but as far as I was concerned it was just like doing normal exercise - as long as you're careful about the activities you do then it should be okay.
That's by no means a professional opinion though!! I've used it for the first two yoga ones breathing and the leaning to side I've done some of the balance games.. There are certain exercises on it that is NOT suitable and I'm sure looking at them you'd be able to tell. Calvin due 17th Feb Calvin Born: 24th February weighing 8lbs 1oz.
